History / Bio. Sketch:
Rev. David Rogers (1855-1940) was born in Darlington Township. In 1879 he was ordained in London into the Methodist Church. From 1895-1897 her served Talbotville Methodist Church and came to St. Thomas in 1911 to serve as minister for Central Methodist (later Central United Church). He was the husband of Elsie E. Lowry from Bruce County. He died in St. Thomas.
